- I've lived in this house for 21 years and I always said when my 2 sons grew up and moved out I would "do some work on it". Was THAT ever an understatement! The house is going from 5 bedrooms and 1 bath to 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, with a killer kitchen and master bedroom/bathroom/walk in closet! AND the old part is being completely renovated! I'm SO fortunate.
I really liked your old farmhouse, but the new one is going to be amazing. What a giant undertaking but thank goodness you have such good friends to help you. Good luck.
